Sorry, I know I should search.... DD has been unwell for a couple of days, is a lot perkier today but is screaming the house down trying to poo. We've had a couple of poo-less days but she was very sick yesterday and kept nothing down, very little fluids which has obviously had an impact.

I know what sort of things to give her today but is there anything I can do to help her straightaway. It's heartbreaking to watch

TIA

Glycerine suppositories are probably the only thing that will help her now, but Brits aren't too keen on suppositories, ime.

yy glycerine suppository, you can get from your pharmacy, summat like 99p for 10; she will probably only need one. Follow the insructions on the pack

it will soften the poo making it easy to pass

be warned you might get some leaks before the poo is passed, so stay near a loo/at home

Thanks both, a trip to Boots then. The joys of parenthood...
