Any experience of MERC SOL or CALC PHOS for teething?

Ds is nearly 8 months and has been teething like mad for over 3 months but still no teeth have appeared.
Lots of dribbling (using 10+ bibs a day) lots of chewing and grinding his gums.
He deals with it during the day and occasionally has paracetaml or ibuprofen but he really struggles at night.
I have been looking into Merc Sol and Calc Phos and wondered if these would be benificial?
