ds2 is 5 months and ive been having an awful time with him . basically since he was born hes had awful tummy ache, chronic wind etc. he has reflux and on meds for that. was in hosp a month ago and had cameras put up and down him and paed couldnt see into his bowel as it was blocked withh green sticky poo. to cut a very long story short hes been on various laxatives that havent helped. currently on doculate which makes him go once a day but his poo is hard and pellets but also mucousy. i realised last week that i remember he hardly did any mecconium when he was born and i told the paed today ar his follow up and she had a go at me sating i shouldve told her before, shes booked him in for camera and biopsy of his rectum. She said there is a possibility of it being a disease i cant remember the name for but that he doesnt have all the symptoms so prob doesnt have it but its bad if he does...

just wondering if anyone has had any similar experiences?

Ignore the stupid paed. How are you supposed to remember everything and know what is relelvant?

Just keep on at getting the help your baby needs.

thanks. i know your right but i still left there feeling awful thinking that if id mentioned it to her at the beginning (although i did to the MW) that maybe he wouldnt still be suffering. Ive never heard of this happening so very worried about it
