Hello - paranoid mother here. Have lovely usually well 22month old boy - we have been on holiday in portugal and for the last 6 days he has been having intermitent temps ( upto 39, usually around 38ish), can come and go very quickly, brought down OK by paracetamol and neurofen. Now he has all his teeth except the last 4 molars and I know they can come in around this time - he has been sticking his fingers in his mouth a lot more, but no real drooling or red cheeks. Quite flat, but managing about half his normal food and still drinking and playing if no temp - defo quite a bit more grumpy than norm and not sleeping well. Took him to GP who looked in ears, chest etc and all OK - could this simply be down to teething?? THink I just want to hear similar stories for reassurance - 34 wks preggers with no.2 and finding myslef way over-emotional and worrying more than norm! Ta!

Hello my dd is suffering exactly the same RIGHT NOW!

She is how you have described your DS.
Not sleeping well at all, waking up every hour at night. Eating less than normal, but still eating and drinking (when she wants). Shes also quite active after weve given her the calprofen and shes had a little sleep.

dont worry, its horrible i know. She has a runny nose too and it seems like a virus, but you can some of her top teeth poking out, very red etc... She has got red cheeks but thats only been since the teeth started to 'pop' through.

Just advice here..dont give the nurofen for more than 3 days to your ds.

Congratulations on No2!
