Red poo, like playdough!

DD is 4.8 and has history of constipation. today she announced mummy i've had a red poo! went and checked and sure enough red poo, just like playdoh! did another about hour later but no more since.

have red other threads on here but all saying about eating beetroot or something else red. she has had nothing like that at all! what else could it be? will chekc tom poos and take to doc on tues if same but just wondered really!

just wondered how your dd is now. this has happened to my ds a couple of times but usually after he has had red jelly to eat.

Is it red on the outside or red all the way through? Any tummy pain? Is she playing a trick?
