ok so ds (3) has autism we thought he may have epilepsy (weird jerks and staring etc) few weeks ago he had 3 proper full blown seizures (drop type)<br /> paed sent special epilepsy nurses round and they had a look at video footage i have they were quite adamant he was having focal seizures fast forward to the EEG (24 hour at home) results were clear paed says its non epileptic "just his autism" and refused an mri grr spoke to nurses and there still adamant its focal seizures and said this happens regularly (EEG clear but still epilepsy iyswim) where do i go from here ? I've filed a complaint against his paed and asked for a second opinion and a different doctor but this could take 3 months !! what do i do??
