Toddler with an underbite

My son has a slight underbite, his bottom teeth are very slightly in front of the top ones and I'm concerned it's affecting his speech. Has anyone had any experience of this?

My son has overbite and is having braces to try rectify it but they don't usually use braces until all baby teeth have fallen out.
Maybe see if you can speak to gp and get a speech referal to check whether it is effecting his speech. My son also has a odd shaped jaw which causes a natural slant on his bottom set.

Thanks, that's really helpful. He lisps a bit but I understand that could be normal at this age.
