How long for chicken pox spots to appear?

First spot this morning, can only see two more this evening. My memory of the older dc is that they came out in them overnight and were fairly covered - could it be that dc3 is getting away with a mild dose? She hasn't had a temp at all, just a cough and runny nose since Monday.

Would be grateful to hear of anyone's experience.

With my dc's more appeared every day for about 5-7 days. Sorry

Just counted 6 more at bathtime - clutching at straws somewhat, but we'll see tomorrow!
