Inward turning foot?

Sorry if this is in the wrong place, I was unsure where would be best to post.

My daughter is 11 months old and has been walking confidently at home for around 7 weeks. She has started walking outside now too and is wearing hard soled shoes. Her feet were measured and fitted correctly at clarks however whenever she is walking in her shoes one of her feet turns inward so much it nearly trips her up, she doesn't do this in bare feet.

Could this be her shoes that aren't fitting correctly or something more?

Need to pop to gp for assessment. Sometime problems only become noticeable when shoes are worn because the mechanisms of walk are different from when you are bare foot.

How hard are the shoes? When you say hard soled I mean. As too hard shoes aren't good for littles ones' feet. They need shoes that are still quite soft like pre-walkers. DS walked at ten months and we got pre-walkers from Clarkes when he turned one for nursery.

Get it looked at by the doctor. I had the same thing as a child and kept falling over because of it. Turns out the bones are twisted so I had orthotics and physio.
You walk differently in bare feet which is why she is okay then.

My DD has the same issue. I went to the GP who said not worry until she was out of nappies. It has straightened a lot evenbefore she was out of nappies, but still turns slightly. I am going to take her back to the GP. My DD is 3 now though.

My right foot basically pointed due west and I fell over a lot. Knocked myself out cold when I was 4!

Thanks for replies. She has cruisers with a softer sole and like proper shoes too both clarks. She walks better in the hard soles outside generally will try her outside in softer ones and see what happens x
