Marks around mouth - thrush?

TankFlyBossWalk · 16/11/2010 07:46

DD (two years, five months) has had a couple of little red marks in the corner of her lip on her face for a couple of days. This morning she's woken up and it's on both sides and looks red, blotchy and dry. I've heard thagt this could be thrush.

Besides a GP apppointment, does anyone know if I could put anything on it, please? Sudacrem?

Thank you! :)

Not sure about putting anything on it as it's near the mouth, could it be little patches of eczema?

Hopefully someone else will have better advice than me but doesn't sound like thrush.

Hi Grumpalo, thanks for your reply. :)

The doc just saw us and prescribed Canesten. Seems thrush is a common problem with young children.

You were right then Smile glad you got something for it, hope it clears up soon. Poor wee thing, is it painful for her? Just asking because I know what the other thrush can be like!
