She is ill, has been diagnosed with a nasty UTI, was running a fever which broke last night, she last ate 3 meals a day last Thursday, grazed on fruit, cereal and sandwiches at weekend, cereal on Monday morning and since then half a bowl of cereal, a bowl of ice cream, a bit of a bacon sandwich and some chocolate animals, she is drinking lots but very concerned about non eating.

Personally, I wouldn't worry too much about the lack of eating as illness can take your appetite away. She'll eat properly once she's recovered, just ensure she drinks plenty of water.

The old saying goes:

Feed a cold and starve a fever.

Hope Dd is better soon.

So long as she is wee-ing than she should be fine. My guess is she'll perk up sat or sunday

Agree, as long as she's drinking she'll be fine.

My dd had her tonsils out when she was barely 2, and hardly ate for two weeks. She got thinner, but as soon as she could eat again she caught up very fast - its horrid when they stop eating, but she'll know when her body's ready for solids again.
