chicken pox

My 4 year old came down with chicken pox yesterday....seems absolutly fine appart from being covered in spots, as its school hols and I have another son, is it wrong of me to go out and about as planned (hes obviously still contagious) ? Had planned to go bowling with them...

no you mustn't go out, you don't know who around you could suffer horrendously from coming into contact with your son. Anyone who is imuno suppressed would be at very high risk.

Didnt mean to sound irresponsible ! Just that older one is going a bit stir crazy as we're usually out doing things... will pop to local woods for an ice cream & a walk instead...shouldnt get too close to anyone then

oh I feel your frustration really I do, have been there myself! It's just not worth the risk.
