"The trouble with Daisy" books....

What age do you recommend these books for? DD spotted 'The trouble with kittens' today and took a shine to it.
What sort of age for reading on her own or for listening to?
Are there any issues in these books for older kids or are they very tame?
It was a bit too long for me to pre-read in Borders today!

tame...we read them (well a couple of them) to dd1 when she was abpout 5-6ish (year 1 end of) - she has re-read them to herself nopw about 7...they are good and quite funny and innocent

We are reading these to our nearly 4 year old and she loves them, she was desperate for her own "chapter books" as her 6 year old sister has them.
