(Funny) poem for 6yo to read

DDs school is having a performing arts night and she doesn't dance or play an instrument but she does read v well so I thought she could read a poem but don't have time to research it. Does anyone have any suggestions for a poem, possibly a funny one? TIA

I saw a little beetle so that Beetle was his name
I called him Alexander and he answered just the same
I put him in a matchbox and I kept him all the day
But Nanny let my beetle out
Yes Nanny let my beetle out
She went and let my beetle out and beetle ran away
She says she didn't mean it, and I never said she did
She said she wanted matches and she just took off the lid
She said that she was sorry and I really mustn't mind
As there's lots and lots of beetles that she's certain we could find
If we looked about the garden for the holes where beetles hid
Then we'd find another beetle and wrote 'beetle' on the lid
So we went to all the places that a beetle might be near
And we made the sort of noises that a beetle likes to hear
And I saw a sort of something
And I gave a little shout
'Its a Beetle House with Alexander Beetle coming out!'
It was Alexander Beetle I'm as certain as can be
And he had a sort of look as if he thought it might be me
And he had a sort of look as if he thought he ought to say
'Im very very sorry that I tried to run away'
And Nannys very sorry too for you-know-what-she-did
And she's writing 'Alexander' very blackly on the lid
So Nanny and me are friends, but it's difficult to catch
An excited little beetle you've mistaken for a match

I like "Emma Hackett's Newsbook" by Allan Ahlberg.

Last night my mum
Got really mad
And threw a jam tart
At my dad.

Dad lost his temper
Then with mother,
Threw one at her
And hit my brother.

My brother thought
It was my sister,
Threw two at her
But somehow missed her.

My sister,
She is only three,
Hurled four at him
And one at me!

I said I wouldn't
Stand for that,
Aimed one at her
And hit the cat.

The cat jumped up
Like he'd been shot,
And landed
In the baby's cot.

The baby -
Quietly sucking his thumb -
Then started howling
For my mum.

At which my mum
Got really mad,
And threw a Swiss roll
At my dad.
