Apologies to anyone of a delicate nature but I've had a bit of a scare this morning and need some advice before I make a complete tit of myself with my local MW.

Was about to attempt some 'perineal massage' in the shower and found things not as expected!! Feels (& I think looks) like my cervix is sticking out of me. Had a bit of a furtle around and can't find anything inside me that might be my cervix but never having come 'face to face' with it before, am not sure what it looks like!!

Can anyone give me any advice? I'm 38 + 2 at the moment.

Oooh, this happened to me in my last pregnancy. The GP and midwife took a look at it WAS a prolapse, only a slight one though.

I felt like I was sitting on something.... like a tampon that wasn't in properly IYSWIM, but it was a smooth hardish type lump. Hard to describe.

Anyway.... good news.... it was declared to be because of some hormonal thing and it all went back to normal after delivery of DS.
