i had a forcepts delivery with DS2 and managed to have sex after three weeks, just to see if everything was working. Now four months later it is still hurting, is this normal? How long before it isn't too tight. I'm not screaming in pain, but i am to scared to let go as it does hurt.

I wonder if it's not the fact that you're scared to let go that is making it hurt - you're tensing the muscles because you think it will hurt so it does hurt, iyswim. It's called vaginismus, and it's really quite common.

If you don't think that's the case then see the GP.

I found it uncomfortable for the best part of a year, but the more you do it, the less uncomfortable it will be. Are you bf as that can affect the production of bodily fluids. If so, you might need to invest in some lubricant...

Thanks raspberryberet, it could be that i am scared, odd that it should feel worse after time. Plus it's so much more comfortable wearing clothes i thought it would be better all round. maybe my expectations are to high. I am bf and i have taken no chances and got lubricant.

I'll just see how it goes over the next year. How easy men have it!
