Birth pool - to hire or buy?

Hi,
Looking for opinions and experience on whether better to buy or hire a birth pool for a home birth. Last time I hired a heated pool but those are outlawed now so will be getting a birth pool in a box.

To hire is about £110 to buy is around £240.

So would the resale value be more than £130 ?

Do you think it would be easy to sell?

Even if buying and selling is cheaper, Is the hassle factor worth it?

TIA

I had a home birth but didn't have a pool & I've never used one so I'm not speaking from actual experience.

However, I think if I had wanted a birth pool at home I'd have hired it so I wouldn't have the hassle of selling it on & trying to store it while I waited to sell it.

I bought one 2nd hand for £50 with both pumps, thermometer and the thingy to put on your tap to get a hose on. Got a brand new pool liner for £30, and with a few extras like a mirror and torch I've spent £90. I figured, even if I give it away afterwards it's still cheaper than hiring!

I have a birth pool in a box you can buy if you'd like. Just needs a liner - all the other kit there. We're in London. Send me a msg if that's of any use!
