My DD was one year old yesterday.I spent all of last Christmas day in labour..It was certainly diferent anyway!Im not convinced Boxing Day is a great day to have a birthday as everyone is doing family stuff and is hungover from Christmas etc..maybe she will have two birthdays like the queen instead-she can decide when she's older I guess..

my ds's is Christmas Eve.
he has a special day, I just hate the fact its a year until he has anything else, but at this stage he is so excited at everyone elses birthday!! I also put alot of his presants away and get them out later in the year..

Hi my ds now 4 was born xmas eve.dd23rd.Was a bit of ahorrendous experience emotionally as having 2 older kids.Has made me more organised now though.Xmas eve is his b'day and not xmas in our house until about 7pm.Think I will forever feel the guilt about this.Have thrown him a party every year day before. You'll be surprised how many presents he has had wrappedin xmas paper...rather annoying.
Know someone who's ds born xmas day ,friend bought a pair of slippers for him,1 wrapped in xmas paper the other in b'day paper.
I will say I am glad my ds is born before xmas and not just after as I fear his b'day might get lost somewhere,at least now,he has presents first before anyone else.

My mum.

I used to have my party on xmas eve. Now it's an advantage as I can forget how old I am and ignore it.
