Nipple stimulation...

Bit of an embarrassing topic but I have been doing this as one of my self-induction methods a few times a day.

Sometimes when I do it, my baby wriggles like mad.

Should I stop if he does this? I'm worried he is hypersensitive to the rush of hormones or something like that.

no..don;t stop.....!

it is a much less 'full on' way of stimulating labour to start than syntcinon........it is all a normal pysiological process..the hormones are being released via signals from your body, not from chemicals in a drip

does it trigger any contractions?

Apparently you are meant to do it 3 hours a day to have any effect. I did it from about 39 weeks for at least a couple of hours a day and still ended up delivering 10 days overdue, I'm not convinced it does any good.

lulu...what would I do without you?

Contractions - I can defo feel things moving down in there then the baby starts wriggling in response to whatever the hormones are doing to my body.

I will carry on then.

Thanks for replying girls.
