Does anyone know anyone who has had a set of twins prematurely and then had a single birth fullterm or has the single birth also been premature? I had twins at 30weeks and am currently 20 weeks pregnant with a single baby. I am currious if I will make fullterm as I only know of cases where both pregnancy's have been premature?

I had twins at 35 and single at 33 but the single was due to placenta abruption.

my mum! we were 6 weeks prem, my brother was on time, possibly a few days over!

preterm labour can be more common with multiple pregnancies and is not necessarily an indication that you are prone to prem labour full stop.

have you discussed this with your midwife/ consultant?

My friend had twins early and then her singleton went over due.

Sorry - this may be a bit late on this thread but I had DTDs at 27 wks. DD3 was born at 39+5.

I did have a short stay in hosp at 24wks due to threatened prem labour - but I think it was paranoia.

It is hard to relax when you have been through that. I attended a prem prevention clinic until 30wks & had regular cervical length measurements for reassurance.

Definately possible to go to full term - esp as your premmies were twins.
