39 weeks tomorrow, getting rhythmic twinges really low down in my pelvis.

Previous two labours have started as period pains, don't remember anything like this.

oh - how exciting. It could be. DD1 was period pains but DD2 was pressure like a heavy weight pressing down just above my pubic bone. Good Luck and keep us posted.

Ooh. Very mild so could go on like this for days, but I really want this baby out!

I understand that felling. DD1 was 10 days late and DD2 16!!
Would like to say though that from the first heavy feeling to delivery was 5 hours and 10 minutes so I felt she justified being late by getting there quickly once she made up her mind to join us!
I'll be watching this thread as it is the closest I will get to the excitement of labour ever again...

Could be. With dd2 I just 'felt different' at the beginning of labour and knew I was starting without any major pains, just a weird feeling in the bottom of my bump.
Good luck.

Woken in the night with strong period pains, which is how prev labours have started, but nothing now.

16 days over! DD was 12 and that was bad enough. Feel like the universe owes me an early labour but not sure it works like that Grin

Are you still waiting? I have thought of you over the last few days. Maybe 16 was the magic number for you too. Let us know.

Oh no. They will not let you wait much longer as you are nearly 43 weeks by now I think? Poor you - I am not surprised you are feeling fed up!

Oh I see - I thought in your comment on 6th April you said you were 16 days over but I think you were referring to my dates - Silly Me.
