Anyone been induced with two pregnancies because of being overdue and labour started naturally with third?

As the subject says really, I was induced with ds1 and ds2 at 13 days overdue. Ds1 was long but ds2 was much shorter but would really like to have a natural labour without cfm and just wondering if anyone had been in this situation. Due a condition the baby has the consultant wants to induce at 40 weeks, he's not expected to struggle with labour or need intervention straight away so if I wasn't induced I would be able to have a pretty hands off labour which I would love, and if possible a water birth. I'm much lighter and fitter this time around but baby is still very high at 34weeks and neither of my boys fully engaged so I suspect this was the reason for non-spontaneous labour. Anyone out there give me some positive stories?

I was induced with DC's 1&2 because my waters burst with no labour starting, dc's 3 & 4 I had natural births.

Nope, sorry. Ds induced at +11, DD1 induced at +12, DD2 I was the same as you, hoping to go naturally but I knew I wouldn't. Induced at +9 because my sympathetic midwife pulled some strings, lol. But the last one was super fast. Good luck.

yep me! Dc1 and 2 were both induced but dc3 came of his own accord at 41 weeks.

Thanks! Just worried it won't be quick if they do it too early!
