I am due tomorrow, the 15 April. I am certain I am going to go overdue its the last thing I want, I found out I was pregnant very early around 2-3 weeks and it has completely dragged in. I really don't want to go overdue.

I have tried something, but I have only started yesterday to try and not go over due. Such as clary sage oil in my bath, and bouncing on a gym ball but nothing. My midwife gave me gave me a sweep a couple of days ago, I didn't understand why as I still had a couple of days till my due date. I am due tomorrow, I am not scheduled to go to the hospital until the 16 April & they will most likely give me another sweep, don't get me wrong they are not sore they are mostly uncomfortable.

I just do not want to go overdue, I have beginning to get slight period cramps but I don't think anything of it as I am young and this is my first child I don't know what labour or going into labour feels like.

So please any ideas on not going overdue I would be most grateful. Thanks

Sorry but your due date is an approximation. You never quite know exactly when baby was conceived and babies take different amounts of time to grow.

My first was 8 days over (I was crawling the walls by the end) and my second was on time. My friend was 3 weeks early, another 2 weeks late.

So try and relax - this will help bring labour on more easily.

Good luck. Either way in 2 weeks you'll be holding your new baby!!!

I'm due on the 17th I've been getting cramps for couple of weeks then it's just stopped. Now every little pain or twinge I get very excited.

Same as u I found out I was preg about 2-3 weeks and it's been a long wait. I'm also really anxouis about birth and feel like this is taking the excitement out of it.
This is my first so I can't help just want you to know your not alone. I've got a sweep Wednesday but have no idea if it will help or not.

Fingers crossed it won't be long for you :)

Im due today, no pains at all. I have a hospital appointment tomorrow, have to get another sweep. If you haven't had a sweep, I don't find that they are sore they are just uncomfortable.

I am hoping that I go today, I cannot wait any longer. I'd rather them tell you your due between the 15 - 20 April, instead of telling you an exact date. Smile

I went six days over with my second - agonising wait!!

Do the deed, I'm sure that helped him out... Perhaps from me laughing so much (not a sexy experience!) Grin
