Run building in the nutterly house mark 2

Oki, after the dismal first attempt, now we're all finally talking again, the plan is to relocate where to put the house and run for the chicks/silkie bantams (the house is for the baby chicks until big enough to move to the less hands on big shed, and for the silkies to remain in). We're putting it down by the tool shed in a part of the garden we don't use so much, so dad will sacrifice space less grudginly!!

I've marked out a rough area (see below for pics) that is approx 5ft wide by 8ft long (I make this 35ft square). The width is kinda none negotiable as dad needs to be able to get all his stuff out of the shed easily, but the length could go back as far as the rockery (so the width of the door + a bit pretty much) which will give more space. I'm hoping to put this sort of house/design there i22.photobucket.com/albums/b345/tomcat1/01.jpg

And the pics of my (badly) marked out area:

I know this is much much more realistic then Dad's attempt so please cross everything he'll agree. Just finally, how many bantams can happily live in there? They'll be able to free range our garden most days (Our garden is long and narrow and walled/fenced in all sides. The wall is 5ft high I think so pretty big!) I worked out 7 can live in that space happily going with each chicken needing 4ft square?
