Anyone recommend a changing bag that works for a toddler AND a newborn?...

...or are we getting into suitcase territory? Never bothered with one for dd but want a more easily organised bag now second one is coming. Have bought a skip hop but dp thinks is too small and i should change it. however worried a bigger bag too heavy anyway and maybe i should just have nappy/clothes essentials in that and food/toys in a tote bag.

Recommendations welcome...

i loved my kipling changing bag it was easy to carry washable in the machine and easily big enough for toddler and baby ,and great quality

I just use a large handbag. Surely you don't need that much for the toddler (a nappy, a drink, a snack)?

I got a ju-ju-be packabe for my birthday a year ago (they're pretty expensive) and I've used it every day since cos its fab.
I use it as a rucksack cos its easier to run about after DS when its on my back. Dh uses it like a shoulder bag.
I dont think I'll have a problem fitting the newborn stuff in there as well as DS's 'luggage' cos theres plenty of room.

Can'tSleep yes that's what I've done till now, just fancy something a bit more organised now i'll have two.

Has to be something dp will also happily carry and he's a bit conservative - part of current problem is he transfers stuff into his bag and i just wnat one place where essentials stay.

I'm still erring on a skip hop for bare essentials and extra bag for extras. don't htink i could carry one bag that had everything in it and also helps to spread weight around the buggy a bit...

2 bags in one. Keep baby stuff in one bag and toddler stuff in the other.
You can also split them so you can carry one each or just take one with you .

good idea - hadn't thought of the fact that sometimes one child will be with me and one with someone else. complicated! maybe i should just stick with my random array of bags!

i have a bag from jujube..got it on thatcuteage.co.uk. its brilliant, it has loads if wee compartments and a comfy carry strap. i got the messenger bag style..and i kept my old bag for when the in laws were just taking one. which is rarely...

I bought this one when I had DC2. I wanted one that would convert to a rucksack, for when I was carrying one child in the sling.

It's a Storksak rucksack, though most of hte time I wear it across the body or shoulder bag style. It's very plain as it's designed for DP to be able to use it too. It's been great. And copes well even now that I have umpteen changes of clothes for DD1 during potty training while DD2 is still in nappies (they are 2.7 and 1.4).

I have a dwell changing bag from "Nubie". Although quite pricey £30 more than most brands I can also use it has a tote and carry my toddlers toys around or as a stay away bag. Also clips to puschair as a pram bag - plus it does not look like a baby bag !

I've just been looking at a Beaba changing bag. Just need snacks and spare trousers for DS now he's potty trained and I fancy something a bit more girly now I'm getting a DD. It's a bit pricey at £75 though!
