Car Seat for large 5 month old?

Hoping someone can help. My 5 month old boy is already outgrowing his infant carrier. My plan was to move him into his sister's Britax First Class. However, since trying this rear facing in our car (Honda Jazz) it doesn't appear to fit and moves all over the place (not a problem when rear facing in our old Vectra). Can anyone suggest any alternatives? Heres hoping!

he's fine in the infant carrier until his head reaches the top, it's ok if his legs have to bend a bit, or hit the back of the seat

you can use a seat like the britax 2 way elite from 9kg though, which would fit in your car

Hi, thanks for your reply. His head is about 1/2" from the top and he's already 9kg - eek! I'll check out the one you have suggested. Many thanks.

Anyone know where I can buy this carseat? I've tried googling with little success. In the Burton/Derby area would be great!

Most suitable car seat for you Jazz would be a Britax Hi-Way since it's compact and approved 0-25 kg. It fits nicely in almost any car, small to large.

In case your boy is also tall, Britax Multi Tech or Britax Two-Way might be better choices. They need sightly more room than Hi-Way but have tall seat shells and will keep kids Rf to age 5-6 compared to 4-4.5 for "normal" kids in HW.

If you want to see photos of how the different seats fit inc ar yu can email me at hakan AT carseat.se

I've also got a besafe and love that too worth trying as many as you can- where are you? I'm in Devon if you want to try either (near Exeter)
