Car seats

Anyone got 3 car seats into a 5-door?

I've suddenly realised that getting three forward facing seats onto the back seat of a Ford Fiesta is going to be very unlikely ... I know that some car seats are smaller than others but wouldn't know where to start wrt looking for small seats - any ideas?

I have a friend with a peugeot 306 (I think) and she has children who are 1, 4 and 6 and go in the back of the car I am pretty sure.

Yes I've heard that it can be done! I'm certain that if I got three of the same Britax seats that I have for my daughter that they wouldn't all fit, so there must be smaller seats on the market ..... no idea where I'd be able to find that info out though.

hi, i have a golf and have a maxi cosi cabrio, a maxi cosi priori and a britax two way elite in the back of mine! can change the cabrio to a rodi sps if i need to but it is hard to do up the seatbelt so better that they are all 5 point harnesses iykwim so only the knuckle pain once when putting the seat in!

are you anywhere near the in car safety centre in either belfast or milton keynes? i spent about an hour there while they tried loads of different combinations in my car-if not maybe call them and they might be able to advise you over the phone.

Nicm - Thanks for your post, very helpful. I can easily get over to Milton Keynes, I hadn't heard of the car safety centre, I'll google now!
