Nuna rebl

I'm looking for an erf seat suitable from birth. I went shopping today and tried the nuna rebl, cybex sirona, britax dualfix and joie I anchor. My preference is for the nuna which seemed to recline as well as the britax and better than the others. But advice on the internet doesn't seem to support this. My concern is reading about babies' heads lolling forward in this seat. Has anyone used the rebl with a tiny baby and how has it been?

We have Numa Rebls in both cars for 10 mo DS. We find the seat great in terms of swivelling and DS seems comfortable in it. However it does take up a lot of space rear to front and occasionally if DS is in a deep sleep, his head will slump forward. Hope this helps

Edit: that should read 19 month old DS. We bought the seat when he was 13/14 months old so don't have any experience of using it on a small baby

We have been using the nuna rebl with my DD since she was 11 months (she's 13 months now). She isn't massive - about 72cm tall and about 8.5kg when we started using it, but obviously has head control etc so not the same as a young baby.

We love it. The swivel is brilliant and the recline seems decent too. I noticed her head fall forward when asleep twice when we first got it but after some research online I put the wedge part of the infant insert back in as apparently this is intended to be used until the child is around 18 months old. It seems to have done the trick as her head hasn't lolled forward since.

From birth you would obviously use all of the insert (it comes in 3 parts) so hopefully you wouldn't have the issue but I couldn't say for sure.

Hope that helps anyway Smile

We have the sirona in our car and the nuna in my mum and dads. They are very similar, I'd recommend either. I think the most important thing is to try them out in your car - there was one seat we tried (can't remember the name of it now) that was meant to be really good for the recline but it was terrible in our car!

I can't comment on the newborn inserts though as we had a maxi cosi cabriofix for that age.
