maxi cosi summer cover - newborn insert

Does anyone know whether the summer cover for maxi cosi pebble car seat includes cover for the newborn insert? My baby still needs her insert (particularly the wedge bit, annoyingly not so much around the head where the heat is really the problem!) but it is getting so hot and I would like to help keep her cool.
