Just bought a 7 seater for school runs etc ( yep, livin' the dream!) but struggling to use back row, as my two in isofix car seats with head protection, which mean row 2 seats wont bend forward. Don't want to compromise safety, but would like something where it is possible to push 2nd row seats down relatively easy to allow access to back row. Any suggestions please? Obvious answer is non isofix booster seats with no head protection, but is there something safer? Non isofix with head protection? Something else? would also like something relatively thin so can fit 3rd person in the middle. Please help! TIA

Britax Adventure high backed boosters are the answer! I have 2, and a wider Britax KidFix ISOFIX booster - the Adventures don't interfere with the seats flipping up and forward to get to the boot seats (my car is a Peugeot 5008) but if I fit the KidFix into the middle of the middle row it gets in the way of flipping the outer seats.

Obviously it's not as easy to lift the Adventure off the seat as it would be a backless booster cushion, but they are pretty lightweight (but at the same time sturdy) and have nice deep body and head support. You'd fit a third person in the middle of two adventures too.
