Klippan Triofix or Axkid Kidzofix?

I'm in a pickle. We want to keep DS1 (4.5) RF for as long as possible but...

We love the Kidzofixas it's RF to approx 6 years old which is great but it means buying another seat when he hits 25kg.

We also love the Triofix but it stops rear facing at 18kg however the seat does go upto 36kg so we wouldn't have to buy a new one and has a self life of 10 years.

Or does anybody know of RF that goes higher than 6yo?

I've been looking at the triofix but I'm put off by the fact that it doesn't recline.

We decided to go the the Kidzo, and then buy a Recaro Monza Nova Seatfix when's out grown the weight.

After a lot of research, I decided to stick to my gut and keep him RF as long as possible.

Klippan Triofix is a very compact seat whereas the Kidzofix typically needs a lot of space in the car.

We have space for bulky seats. I'm more concerned about EFR then the size as it won't be moved from car to car.

My 3yo has worked out how to loosen the Kidzofix harness and so I wouldn't recommend it. He can reach down and press the release button!! A very bad design flaw. He couldn't do that on the Kiss 2 or his Maxi Cosi....

Ours are pretty relaxed in car seats and prefer to sleep or play with toys. I've never had a issue with them trying to escape. They fasten themselves in but don't unfasten.
