Car seats

More rear facing suggestions please

Does anyone have any recommendations for a rear facing car seat that doesn't rest on the seat in front, and preferably doesn't have tether straps that would need to be adjusted or switched if the seat in front is moved?

Foot props should be ok and Isofix is available (all 3 points).

I don't think such a thing exists?

I am hoping it does because my husband won't go for anything that requires faffing about when changing driver (and it would need to be behind the driver).

Thanks for the repl, Loopy.

I thought the BeSafe had to be touching the seat in front or have 25cm clearance. I'm not sure if there's enough space for the clearance, 25cm is a lot!

I'm not in the West Country, but thanks for the offer!

However, I'm an hour away from the In car safety centre in Milton Keynes, so I expect I'll go to take a look.

hi, the KISS car seat is isofix or seatbelt, has a foot prop but no tether straps and doesn't need to rest on the front seat/dash.

:)

I was going to suggest the KISS seat as well. Not that Besafe is a bad choice. It is not - noot at all. But it is a real beast in cars.. It needs a lot of room - approx 10-15 cm more than the KISS, when you put it in recline position.

Believe me I have 9 of these seats.
