Genius.

Mostly As with one or two Bs.

Slubberdegullion · 16/04/2010 21:35

Results:

Mostly As
You are a Minimalist
Good for you. The rest of us envy you slightly, unless it's raining.

Mostly Bs
You are a Utilitarian.
You know you are a bit of a twat but never mind, at least your tent will never blow away.

Mostly Cs
You are a Glamper

yes yes yes it's all very charming. You need some more plastic stuff. Th rest of us secretly covet that tea light chandelier.

Mostly Ds
You are a member of The Outwell Family
Do you look like their ads? Have you got your canoe yet (this season's must have). Nice tents mind.

Mostly Es
You are not a camper.
Why are you even doing this quiz?

I am NOT a camper but that's the funniest post I've read on MN for a while

Slubber, please extend your 'included topics' list...

SethStarkaddersMum · 16/04/2010 21:37

could you add a question about favourite campsite, please, Slubber?

Slubberdegullion · 16/04/2010 21:39

Seth, will have to ponder upon fave campsite Q.

OP posts:
tarantula · 16/04/2010 22:01

I'm mostly A's with a couple of C's. We ahve in fact upgraded recently to a 3 manfor 3 of us!!! Well we need more spce now we are older.

Q.7 is totally unfair tho as I like to do both A and C in equal measure.

What is a delta tent exactly?

tarantula · 16/04/2010 22:10

delta tent? delts peg I mean doh

SethStarkaddersMum · 17/04/2010 08:49

I'll do a q11, then, while Slubber ponders.

  1. My favourite campsite is:

A. A north-facing slope above 2000 feet, preferably on a glacier.
B. Any recommended by the Camping and Caravanning Club
C. The field next to my friend Milo's gorgeous cottage in Dorset
D. One with perfectly smooth grass
E. A contradiction in terms

bramblebooks · 17/04/2010 09:10

many c's, lots of ds too. My bro is definitely A and lived in the garden for months as a teenager. My contribution towards his camperama was stinkbombing him regularly. Not sure that he would notice. It all ended horribly when the rabbit ate his tent.

(am assuming that the baby ultimate glamping accessory was sleeping, slubbs)

CaptainNancy · 17/04/2010 09:19

Heheh... v funny slubber. Unsurprisingly, the nancoids are all A's, with 1 B (well you can't take babies and toddlers to the pub in the eve, so we check the guys )

helyg · 17/04/2010 09:28

Oh dear, I'm mainly D's with a little bit of C

Mostly Bs with a sprinkling of As.

Very funny thread slubber.

ebayaddict · 17/04/2010 10:13

Fairly even split between B and D. If you don't mind I'll print it off to share with the other camping mums at school

fireandlife · 17/04/2010 12:54

Bs and as I'm awaiting a new bell tent I'm afraid Cs as well! Moving away from the very sensible plastic camping towards covering the plastic boxes with cloths!

Wiggletastic · 17/04/2010 14:11

We are mostly Bs with the odd D - we aspire to being the Outwell family but lack the funds and the 'perfectness' .

Excellent quiz Slubber...

shockers · 17/04/2010 14:19

Mostly D's and B's and the very proud owner of an Outwell Nevada

SherratonGirl · 17/04/2010 14:27

Excellent quiz!

I have some B's and D's and amazingly some E's

Fliight · 17/04/2010 14:37

This marks out Slubber yet again as just a total genius

loving 'Camping is shit'

TheFallenMadonna · 17/04/2010 14:44

Now I reckon we are somewhere between B and D, but more this than this.

We can always find our tent on the campsite...

BariatricObama · 17/04/2010 14:59

rofl - i see i am excluded from taking part. we used to be a.

  1. you sleep in and on: a.foam mat and 5 season down sleeping bag that has seen you through 10 ascents of everest b. thermarest and mummy sleeping bags c. one of those bell tent mattresses with lovely ticking but even you have to admitt it is lumpy and uncomfortable. plus several vintage quilts d.fat erics and duvets e.the superking size bed in a nearby b&b
Lucycat · 17/04/2010 15:37

at slubber who has far too much time on her hands!

Lots of D's B's and a variey inbetween!

What about you then slubber in which camp do you fall?(d'ya see what I did there 'camp' )

Slubberdegullion · 17/04/2010 18:40

I like the additional questions from Seth and bariatric

Bariatric I did have an option F (for the caravanners, but it all got far too rude plus I couldn't think of a caravaning hero.

Bramble I reckon a dog is more outwell family than glamper, it may depend on the breed though [needs further research]

Lucy - I scribbled it down in the car on the way back from the lleyn, it was either that or listen to dh bang on about audits.

OP posts:
Slubberdegullion · 17/04/2010 18:41

oh I'm a B all the way

OP posts:
MartinlovesDebi · 17/04/2010 18:59

Oh dear, there are an embarassing amount of C's in my tally. No tea light chandelier, but I am massively coveting solar powered fairy lights atm

And I am fat erics and sheepskins with duvet and pillows all the way.

Anywhere you can have a proper fire, and no marked out pitches.
