I have been looking on the internet, but am hoping some of you wonderful people would recommend a campsite (I have a tent only but don't mind sharing with caravans) within 10 miles of Longleat. Cheap is better, but some facilities would be best.

We stayed at Brokerswood Country Park last August. It is within 20 mins of Longleat Safari Park. Camp site is lovely - next to a country park which you can go into for free. There are two large wooden play areas in the park and a little train that takes you round the park. There is a lake - and a shop where you can buy duck food - which the huge fish loved to eat. We stayed there for two weeks and loved it. Went to Bath from there, Longleat, lots of surrounding areas, big town (can't remember it's name) near by with Asda, site staff will tell you what it was called. Toddlers undercover play area on the site.

Facilities were great - clean toilets and showers - family bathroom you can book. Laundry, shop and cafe - lovley bacon baps in the morning!

We had a great time there - Also recomend the passports for Longleat you can buy at a discount at the site shop - we spent three whole days there - with the passport you can go back as many times as you like until you have done everything once. Excellent value for money.
