Ahhhhh the days of luxury that we took for granted! Now we pee in a bucket with a lid

Where is the poshest place you have camped/ would like to camp?

Home Farm in Anglesey have fresh flowers in the toilet block.

That is about as posh a site as they let the Lucycats onto....

ah well, this year our rented mobile home will have a deck and a patio heater. I aspire to one with a dishwasher.

The deck does have a 'drinks table' though, whatever that may be.

I am sadly thrilled that ours is a top of the range model. Last year i used to furtively creep into empty up-market mobiles and use the microwave to make popcorn . And gaze up at the posh people on their decks.

Dh rather misses vegas and that includes circus circus so sort of under a tent I suppose..... LOL

A few years back our caravan was so awful (carbon monoxide alarm going off all the time, no hot water etc etc) that we got an upgrade to the poshest on site for free! Huge patio, outdoor dining stuff etc etc- fab.

Have to say though thatb pre-kids cruising was our choice of holiday.

was flicking through the Observer camping guide, it lists some amazing places - yurts with proper beds and 'high thread count' sheets, ensuite portaloos etc. A tent hanging from a tree, camping for skiers with log burners (think i'll give that a miss!)

ooh yes i saw the photo of the place with the log burner!
my fave part was the insect-o-meter. Inspired!

did anyone see the amazing teppee tents offered for glastonbury, they are the height of glamping, you can even arrive on site by helicopter (would put in a link but dont know how to)
