Campsites near Ludlow ? Camping virgins also.

Dh and I thinking of borrowing my SIL's tent and camping paraphernalia to try out a weekend camping with the DD's - maybe over half term - DD's are aged 5 and 2. My SIL lives in Gloucs so we thought we could stay with her overnight, practise putting up the tent in her garden! and then drive to Ludlow or somewhere in that neck of the woods. Would like somewhere family friendly and with facilities e.g a play area would be nice, but not too big. DH is a bit of a girly wuss and would not cope well with anything too rugged! Pubs etc nearby would be a bonus. Any suggestions oh wise ones??
