Which camp bed for my 3 year old ds?

We've just bought our first family tent and have no idea what to get for ds1 to sleep on. Ready beds? Inflatable beds? Roll beds? Any thoughts on what's good would be gratefully received.

TIA

I'd go for a good quality sleeping bag and airbed, although our dd's sleep on Ready Beds as they were ded cheap last year, they also have an extra junior bag (£5 from Decathlon) to put inside for early season camping. But I'll get a Vango nitestar and airbed when dd1 grows out of hers.

We have a variety in this house. DS3 (who is 3) has a ready bed; ds2 (5) has an airbed and sleeping bag, ds3 (6) refuses to sleep on anything except a camping mat, rather bizarrely imo.

When they were littlies I did find the ready beds easiest, although I add a cot quilt for trips outside the main season. I also notice good old Argos does first ready beds now, with 'bumpers' and if I were buying now for DS3 (as opposed to him adopting ds2's old one) then I'd go for that. The ready beds dry quite easilt oo, in the event of an accident.

I got a ready bed for dd (3) and it's been great.

Think I'll go for a ready bed, as he's quite a wriggly sleeper and I'm sure he'd roll of an airbed and I'd find him wedged up against the side of the tent loooking confused

LucyCampCat, we've bought a Vango Aspen 700 DLX. DH and I decided that our little 3 man tent, affectionately known as 'Yoda's House', was not going to cut it now we are a family of four, who often have parents with us. By the way your check list was great, I 'borrowed' it and then added my own bits and pieces, thanks
