I,m in heaven ( a sigh of relief ) we,ve just bought a soulpad ( some men find a young thing for their crisis mine a soulpad!) and I,m worried sick.we,eve never camped more than 3 days and now we are going to do 3 weeks ........but where?
Somewhere warm,by the sea....we,ve driven down to Spain on earlier occasions with first cohort of children but stayed in a mobile home......for goodness sake somebody help .......Shock

You've come to the right place motherofluvlies, particularly if you want to bunt up your soulpad Grin

3 weeks I France/Spain _ how lovely. I can't really help much as have only stayed on two Spanish campsites - one in Mundaka in the north and one somewhere else I have forgotten Blush where they let off a siren at midnight and yelled "silencio" through the speakers. All the babies started to cry. [Hmm]. I can't recommend it.

I will watch with interest though as we need a Spanish recommendation too.

Welcome anyway to the Mumsnet bell tent collective Grin

We are off to France and Spain for 3 weeks next Wed and getting very excited. Our kids are 6 and 9.

Have you looked at Camping Indigo? They have several sites around France, one of which is right on the west coast. We stayed at the site in Isle D'Oleron and that was lovely.

La grainetiere, ile de re is my reccomendation. Campsite not right on the beach, but close. Island lovely. Campsite the cleanest I've ever stayed at, with great pool and bar.
