Hello
We are looking to camp late june and would like to go to south devon. Can anyone recommend a campsite within walking distance of a town, or a very short drive, as we will have our ds that would have just turned 1. We prefer sites without entertainment ideally.
Thanks
Jo

Hi there... There is a lovely camp site in a village called stoke Fleming... It's about a 45 min walk into Dartmouth and about a 10 min walk to one of devon's best hidden gem - Blackpool Sands beach! Highly recommend it. Dartmouth is a beautiful harbour town with restaurants and shops and plenty to do. Blackpool sands is a blue flag beach with food and shop and its stunning Smile

centry touring in brixham was good for us...primarily due to great location. we were in overflow field. toilets basic and clean and only 1 tap for washing up - we never had to queue - maybe lucky. very cheap.

can walk to beach, rugby club doing cheap food, pubs etc in brixham, crabing at harbour, cold swimming pool on beach, very small supermarket (co-op), fish and chips. basic, cheap and quiet and good location
