Yes, saw them, bought them & slept on them!

In fact eldest son now wants to sleep permanently on the floor on his Aldi SIM.

We've got 6 singles as one big sleeping area on the floor and they are so much more comfy and warm than the airbeds we had before.

One thing, I noticed a post on UKCS today where a lady is having terrible problems rolling up the Lidl double SIM

Thanks, just to ask did you see them most recently in Aldi?

I looked at the Lidl one yesterday, I didn't like it and was glad I'd bought the Aldi ones. It was meant to be a double (it's the only sort they're doing) but it was more like a slightly wider single, plus it was incredibly bulky even when rolled up and very heavy. By comparison the Aldi ones were v. streamlined when rolled away in their bags.

Possibly it was my local Lidl, which is a bit dodge, but they didn't appear to come in proper bags, they were all stuffed into clear thick plastic bags with no tie-top, which would have been enough to put me off even if I'd liked them otherwise.

We got a SIM from LIDL ages ago so don't know if they are the same brand but it burst when ds2 lay on it. He's not obese by the way! Got an Aldi one but have yet to try it.

I saw loads in our local Aldi at the beginning of the week and bought two. ('loads'=about 20) Haven't road-tested them in anger yet, but DH did consent to lie down on one and made lots of 'mmfff mmm ahhh' noises, which I think means he thought it was comfy.

katy, ds1 had a very comfy night on the Aldi mat. We found it took a while to self-inflate but you literally unroll it with the valve open and the mat itself inflates.
