What Do You Drink When You Go Out.

So I would normally drink white wine or prosecco/cava. Probably sharing a bottle with a friend. I'm thinking my best bet for a night out might be to have gin and slimline tonic instead to keep the calories down?

What do you drink in this situation? I want to have a drink but don't want to go mad on the calories. Thanks

Gin and slimline tonic or Vodka, soda and fresh lime (not cordial) are both good options.

Dry white wine is best if you want wine.

Glass of water between each alcoholic drink to help slow down consumption.

I personally find a glass of wine lasts longer than spirits, so I might only have one glass where I could have three spirits in the same amount of time. In that instance the wine would be the better choice for me.

Thanks for your replies. I was also thinking it's easier to keep tabs on how many glasses/calories with the Pimms or gin. Sharing a bottle and the glass getting topped up then I don't know exactly how many calories

Just checked gin - 74 cals and Pimms is only 40! Is that right? Might go on the Pimms and diet lemonade if that's the case.
