I would say about 2oz going by mine at that age. Give her as much as she wants (within reason).

mine r still on 4oz at 8 weeks, and they have doubled their birth weight. Although, dt1, eats the most but is quite kinny, and has put on less than dt2, who sleeps thru and so drinks less, btu is still becoming quite fat. Hope that makes sense - but my point is that all babeis are different, and I think some just burn up more than others, regardless of how much they are taking.

quite skinny. plz excuse typing.

I really wouldn't wory too much abt what the hv says. They have a tendancy to worry too mcuh about growth charts even when babies are perfectly healthy.

ignore the hv - if you are getting lots of wet nappies everyday and a pooey one every few days (at least) she is probably fine. Some babies just grow more slowly than others. If she wants more she will let you know - and you can't force it down. Just make sure she is taking as much as she wants.

Mine were all littlies and never did manage an 8oz bottle in one go - even at 9 months they normally only took 5-6 oz.

starshaker, my ds3 is breastfed but has been given breastmilk in a bottle. When he was that little he would never have taken more than 2oz in a bottle. Ignore the hv!
