Tummy bug - what to do? Bit nervous!

Not sure if this is the right place to post, will post in health if not appropriate.

My friend's ds has had a tummy bug (throwing up & the runs) and I think he's passed it on to my ds (six months old and quite small and thin for his age)

He was nursed a couple of times this afternoon and then had some carrot and chicken for his tea... it ALL came back up and since then he has kept being sick...

What should I do re: feeding him? I am tempted to knock any solids on the head for now and just bf him, but does he need any extra water - I know normally bf babies don't but in this case will it stop him getting dehydrated?

Should I bf him more often or less often?

Bit nervous about all this, am going to see doctor tomorrow but need advice for tonight!!

Keep breastfeeding. Your milk contains antibodies to help him fight the bug.

Keep breastfeeding. If he's only just started on solids I'd be tempted to just bf until his tummy is less sensitive but maybe ask the GP about that. No extra water I don't think.

bf as often as he needs - and don't sweat it if he doesn't eat any solids for a bit

(had the same thing at the same age, also had a lean ds who was verging on the skinny at the end of it. poor you!)

Yes, that is what I thought, thank you very much, I am just particularly nervous as he's so little

He is asleep in a sling atm, I daren't risk putting him upstairs to sleep without me there.

Yes, I know, pfb syndrome, but it does make me nervous!!
