Infant feeding

Anyone BF in MK?

I am off to Milton Keynes today. Will need to feed DD, who, as part of her own breastfeeding manifesto campaign, is now refusing EBM in a bottle. I am a bit scared, so does anyone know where I can feed, either sympathetic cafes etc or a feeding room somewhere? I will be with DH, who will be cross if anyone tries to stop me feeding, so there will be a "scene"...

John lewis usually have a good feeding room if you dont want to feed totally in public. The one in their Solihull store is fab so defo worth a look at the MK one.

cazee - not sure if this is too little too late, but MK shopping centre have a fabulous feeding room. it's still in the toilet complex, as part of the changing room, but it's totally separate, and has very nice comfy chairs and a water dispenser etc, if you're not comfortable feeding in a cafe or whatever.

FWIW - i have bf ds all over MK shopping centre, in Subway, Costa, on the bench outside Waterstones. have never had comments except from some 14 year old chavs, but i'm not going to fret about them! if i were you, i would just feed wherever, whenever, and if anyone asks you to move then just remember our picnic!

Thanks UrbanDryad, the problem is DD twangs off and on like no-ones business at the moment, so that room sounds perfect.

Oh yes I've fed dd in John Lewis MK's cafe before, but I didn't bother with the feeding room - can't be bothered sitting in a glorified toilet when I can take delight in people's shocked faces .

Any Starbucks is normally a good bet if you want to sit with a coffee.
Bit late now but might be useful later.
