Advice needed! best way to get v reluctant 9mth dd off breast

Have exclusively breastfed my 9mth dd but would now need to get back some independence. Have tried various bottles/cups without much success. Have found a bottle that she will consider but will only take about 1-2 floz and only from my dh. I've been out all day so as not to distract her but she's hardly had any milk or water. She's asleep now but not sure what to do when she wakes up. Don't necessarily want to completely stop breastfeeding but need to be in a position where I can leave her overnight as have hen weekend in 6 weeks and am than starting back at work. Should also mention that she won't eat much in the way of food! Any advice welcome...

I haven't really got any similar experience but a friend of mine took about 4 weeks to get her dd to take a bottle (did it at about 3 months old). She tried her with a bottle every day (different bottles and teats etc) and just kept on going until she was taking a feed quite happily. Some days she would take a bit, some days just scream and scream!
You might have to just keep persevering.
