is it ok to take erythromycin while breastfeeding? along with the usual decongestants, cough medicine and panadol?

Yes it is. Check the cough medicine though, it should just be simple linctus. Also go easy on decongestants unless inhaled ones. Olbus oil on a tissue is very effective. Guess you are not feeling well?

Mears, thanks for that. have been on sick leave for a week!! and havent reconnected to internet since moving house so didnt get a chance to check this. dd has caught my wretched cold and has a blocked nose!! dr gave her nasal drops and phenergan but now her face seems to have erupted in what i THINK is the dreaded excema! how do i tell if it is? and is it due to the phenergan? or because of formula?she's on mixed feeds now.(but we use aptamil at home and her grandma gives her Lactogen DHA when she's there. (yes yes nestle, i shall slink away in shame....but it's very popular here in un-pc Malaysia...

what should i do abt the rash on her cheeks which i think is excema?is there anyway to get rid of it?from the countless posts i've read on excema, it sounds as if it's impossible to keep under control once it rises its ugly head..
