EBM and slow flow teats

I am using Tommee Tippee Closer To Nature bottles for EBM when I need to give DD a bottle now and then. I have been using the newborn teats. Now she is four months old should I use the next size teat (labeled from 3 months), or should I stick with the newborn, as I don't want her finding the bottle really easy and rejecting the breast. She drains her bottle quickly, and doesn't seem frustrated. Any advice really greatfully received!

Not sure if they do them for those bottles, but if they do, you could try variflow ones - they have a cross cut in the top, rather than a hole, so the harder she sucks, the faster the milk will come out. Worked for us. Good luck with it.

If she isn't frustrated I would leave it for the time being. She will soon let you know when she wants a teat with a faster flow.

Thanks, I think I will leave it until she shows frustration. JackieNo, I did look for variflow teats but I don't think they do them for these bottles.

Cazee, been wondering the same thing myself and DD is 5 months. Accidentally gave her a 2 month teat when she was a lot younger and she started getting very frustrated with the bosom so made sure I just stuck with the newborn. She's still on them now and I'm just going to wait until she complains or when I stop b/f.
