Nice nursing night time bras- Where from?

can anyone advise where i can get a nice nursing nighttime bra. Am expecting in Sept and the ones i used from mothercare with my daughter are lanisoh stained and not the most attractive but were comfy. I had one from the NCT magazine the night time one but foudn that useless as when i unhooked the middle of the bra the other boob would be exposed dripping milk.

Any ideas grateful

Thanks

For comfort, not style, I use the sleep bra from Mothercare, kind of like a crop top. two in a pack for around £18. Until I found these I was very uncomfortable sleeping in a bra. this Don't think DH finds tham that attractive though...!

I went to an independent lingerie shop and got measured up, it was all very nice and they can order in if you want something special

Excuse my ignorance, but what is the difference between a nighttime nursing bra and a normal daytime one? Is it just meant to be more comfortable? I have just been sleeping in the nursing bras I wear during the day- I didn't even know there were specific nighttime ones!

i don't think there is any real difference, just comfort

I use M&S nursing bras at night and something sturdier for the day. They are definitely more comfortable to sleep in.

Why would you wear a nighttime nursing bra? Is this just if you would normally wear a bra at night anyway?

Sorry, that wasn't in response to OP, just a hijack for some advice! I don't usually wear a bra at night - will I have to start if I'm bf?

katy, you'll need a bra at night with breast pads in if you're bf, as your boobs will make loads of milk overnight, and you'll wake up leaking and with bosoms like melons stuck on your front! If you're anything like me anyway!!

In answer to the OP, I just wore the same feeding bras as I wore in the day. I didn't have special nighttime ones.

oh, can recommend Elle MacPherson feeding bras, bit expensive, but worth it, really comfortable. I had cheaper ones from M&S as well, but ended up hardly using them as I used the EM ones all the time.

I can recommend the Carriwell nursing bra - v comfortable, I also used a non-nursing version when pregnant. The local NCT bra fitter said that normal nursing bras weren't ideal to sleep in.

I also used Carriwell for the night - they are v comfortable.

I had to use a specific nighttime bra as the seams on my daytime nursing bra's caused blocked ducts as they didn't let my boobs 'do their thing' at night.

The night time nursing bra I wear is like a crop top. The difference is if you are big boosemed (like me!) then you can find that you, ahem, sort of slip out of a normal nursing bra when you lie down at night, and then you are not catching the milk in a pad. With the crop top design it is more comfy, and you just roll about inside it!

I have the EmmaJane crop top style ones. They're more comfy than normal daytime nursing bras because there's no clasp at the back to dig into you whilst you're asleep

if you buy those vest tops with the built in support elasticy bit inside breast pads can be inserted and generally stay something like in place

my night time sleeping bra is more like a soft crop top where I can lift up the cup area and it does not cut into your breast when feeding. so no fiddling with clips etc.

got mine from the australian breastfeeding association - think they deliver overseas too.

I'm using crop tops made by sloggi. from the sensual range. They are very stretchy and comfy. I just pull them down..
I got them from debenhams
