I'm MN resident moaner tonight!

Right, I seem moe mushroom than girl (burning down below; shooting & pins and needles pain in breast; eczma on hands; cold sores). I also confess to hjaving survived last 4 months virtually entirely on sugar .

I've decided to try the Atkins diet - which is basically the 'candida diet' - that is anti thrush. Losing weight would be nice too - but that's not priority at the mo.

a) will a very low carb diet affect my milk

b) will going into 'ketosis' afect my milk

c) will ketones be excreted through my milk (would make sesnse since they're excreted into breath, and urine) and will this be harmful to vmy baby or make my milk taste bad?

Anyone got the technical know how or experience of this?

thanks!

Low GI must be better

Wow, what good links! Many thanks!

What is low GI? I'm a bit of a diet virgin - only know atkins since my mil/sil do it.

most likely dietary stuff could be helpful for eczma imo.

sorry - have to rush off soon so can't do links, but candida and eczma/dermatitis do seem to be related albeit one doesn;t necesserily imply the other

can't find anything better, but a lot of sources suggest the link. E.g. you can get a thrush nappy rash.
