No, get a nice one. After 9 months in a nursing bra, there's nothing better than a pretty normal one. You can just hoik it up/ down when you need access!

Have fun shopping

Sounds good to me, I am so bored of my very dull nursing bras. Want to treat my DH to a nice surprise on Christmas eve

I think by that time I might have even been wearing underwired again. Seeing as my supply was so established. Don't know if that's actually recommended though...

sorry to ask again, but do you not need to wear breast pads still then??

If you are not leaking milk you don't need to wear breast pads.

I didn't think underwired were recommended if you were still feeding. My DS2 has just stopped feeding after 15 months and I wore nursing bra's for the convinience except when we got the odd night out or I decided to treat DH after the DS's were in bed.

I'm not leaking so don't need to wear pads... not sure that I would wear underwired though as still breastfeeding twice a day and don't want to risk a blocked duct (had mastitus early on - never again!).

I got rid of mine after a week. Horrid things. Switched to comfy microfibre ones when DD was feeding on demand and then just normal ones, including underwired (didn't know it's supposed to be a bad idea). No problems at all, but I am small of nork.

underwires are fine as long as the bra fits properly ie the wires don't press on your breasts. i'm still feeding ds at 18m and wear normal bras most of the time - have done for nearly a year, i think...
